Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Award
Hey BBYO teens,
Each year the Diller Teen Tikkun Olam award is given to 15 Jewish teens in the U.S. who are exceptional role models in their communities and beyond. The awards celebrate Jewish teens across the United States who have demonstrated remarkable leadership and are actively involved in projects which embody tikkun olam. Up to fifteen recipients are selected annually, and recipients are each awarded $36,000 for their college education or to further their work to make our world a better place.
Diller will be accepting nominations and applications for the 2016 aways until December 13th. If you are interested or know of someone who could be a strong candidate for the award, make sure to visit www.dillerteenawards.org for either the application or nomination process.
As members of BBYO, we pride ourselves on the amazing work we do while improving the world. If you feel that you have led an outstanding project on either the Chapter, Regional, or International level, we highly recommend that you look into the website and apply for this prestigious award.
We would like to recognize Ruthie Perlman from Southern Region: Dixie Council and Marissa Hacker from South Jersey Region for winning the Diller Teen Tikkun Olam award last year. We are incredibly proud of the work that these two outstanding teens accomplished and continue to devote their time to, and we hope that more of our members receive this award!
