Mysteria AZA of BBYO Gold Coast Region hosts Overnight Laser Tag Program

Alephs and BBGs of BBYO Gold Coast Region spent this past weekend at their local Laser Quest playing an 8-hour long overnight laser tag game. This program was organized by Mysteria AZA, but open to all of Gold Coast Region. While the program was originally intended to be chapter fundraiser, it ended up being the perfect opportunity for brotherhood and sisterhood bonding, recruitment, and a celebration of this year’s accomplishments in GCR. To ensure maximum attendance at this program, Alephs of Mysteria AZA utilized the most fundamental tool in the MRIHA recruitment process: the phone. Alephs spent hours calling new and prospective members in the region to invite them to this unique overnight.

Once they had 75 Alephs and BBGs registered, the coordinators turned their attention towards focusing on the “host” component of MRIHA. Every detail of the program was thought through to ensure that all attendees had an awesome experience. Snacks were provided, games were planned, and the atmosphere was made to feel like an exclusive BBYO event.

Planning a large regional event is not easy, but the coordinators Nathaniel Meyerowitz, Alec Shears and Daniel Werbin were dedicated to making this program a success. Thus, they took their idea, acted on it had a successful program that raised money for their chapter’s cause!
