Staff Nominations for Arnie Weiner Award
Do you have the best staff and think they should win an award? The Arnie Weiner Award for Professional Excellence in Furthering the Principles of AZA and BBG is presented at BBYO’s Professional Staff Conference, to one member of BBYO’s professional staff for his/her service and commitment to the values and ideals of AZA and BBG.
The nominees come from us, the teen leadership of BBYO. For decades, AZA and BBG have served as the foundation for BBYO’s leadership development experience. Hundreds of thousands of teens have participated in local chapters, experiencing our democratic process while developing the values and skills necessary to excel in positions of leadership that we will encounter throughout our lives.
This award recognizes the legacy of Arnie Weiner, the Director of Michigan Region from 1969 until 2008, whose passion and dedication to AZA and BBG made chapter involvement a profound experience for Jewish teens in Michigan and throughout the country.
Please complete this survey by Wednesday, December 2, 2015 so that your nominated professional staff can be in the running (chapter advisors are not eligible for this award)!
Our staff members put in countless hours to make help us grow as leaders as well as growing AZA and BBG. We would love for everyone to thank their staff members and nominate them for this prestigious award.
Please pass this link onto your Regional, Council and Chapter Boards and other teen leaders, encouraging them to take a moment to nominate staff members they feel deserve to be recognized. The nomination page can be found here: ArnieWeiner Award 2016.
