Highlights from today's opening plenary include:
- Hollywood film Director Lee Hirsch discussed the importance of ending bullying and showed the trailer for the upcoming documentary, The Bully Project, which is premiering today to the first all-teen audience at IC.
- Surprise presentation of Stand UP Award to Trudy Album, a Holocaust survivor and long time staff member of BBYO's March of the Living delegation.
- Introduction on how making impact on policy goes beyond petitions and protests with AIPAC's Director of Leadership Development, Jonathan Kessler
