IC 2013 Travel Information
Travel procedures listed below are intended for both Wednesday, February 13th (Execs, Connect Engagement Leadership Institute and Global Partners Summit) AND Thursday, February 14th (main arrival day for the vast majority of IC participants). If you have any questions, please be in touch.
If you have not submitted your travel plans for IC yet, this needs to be done no later than Thursday, February 7th or we cannot guarantee an adult will be there to greet you or that we will have space on the buses to get from the airports to the hotel. Transportation is provided from Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) and Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA). Buses will not be provided from Dulles International Airport (IAD). All travel information should be submitted to Convention Registrar Sabrina Moore, Convention Travel Coordinator Liel Azoolin and the International Convention Help Desk.
- If you are arriving and meeting the group at Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport, please follow the signs to the Southwest Baggage Claim in the lower level of the airport. You should head to carousels #1 - #5 and look for the many BBYO staff and volunteers enthusiastically ready to greet you wearing bright red and blue vests. If you have trouble locating the BBYO meeting point at the BWI airport for any reason or if you have any travel delays, please call Kevin Falik, BBYO Cotton States Program Director, at (901) 878 – 9361.
- If you are arriving and meeting the group at Washington’s Ronald Reagan National (DCA) Airport, please follow the signs to Terminal A. You will need to take the underground bridge/hallway. You may be waiting for the bus, so we encourage you to grab a snack before heading to Terminal A since the snack options are limited there. Look for the many BBYO staff and volunteers enthusiastically ready to greet you wearing bright red and blue vests. If you have trouble locating the BBYO group at the DCA airport for any reason, please call Marty Shankle, Lonestar Program Director, at (832) 374 – 8336.
