BBYO is the world’s leading pluralistic Jewish teen movement aspiring to involve more Jewish teens in more meaningful Jewish experiences. Each year, BBYO’s International Convention (IC) represents one of the largest annual gatherings of Jewish teens worldwide. IC brings together more than 1,200 Jewish teen leaders from at least 15 countries across North America, Europe, South America, South Africa, the Middle East and Israel – alongside hundreds of BBYO alumni, parents, advisors, professional staff, top Jewish philanthropists and opinion leaders – over President’s Day weekend in February for five action-packed days filled with sharing, learning, growth and fun.

IC 2013 will be our largest and most extraordinary International Convention to date.  We are thrilled that Washington, D.C. will host IC for the first time in February 2013. Globally, the D.C. area is home to BBYO’s largest community with nearly 5,000 locally involved teens across BBYO Northern Region East. Inspired by a spirited host community and unparalleled opportunities for service, advocacy and learning across the community, we’re going to break all records this year. Jewish television channels, satellite and online radio stations, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) and several local, national and international Jewish newspaper outlets will cover International Convention.

BBYO is seeking sponsorships to amplify the IC program while ensuring affordability for our teen participants. As a socially-minded and highly energized group of Jewish teen leaders passionate about social change, IC offers an excellent opportunity for sponsors to cultivate a relationship and build name recognition with this vibrant youth demographic.
