Wisconsin Region couldn't be more excited for all of our teens headed to summer programs this summer. It's our largest delegation in many years.We hope everyone has an amazing time...and participants should be on the look out for a gift from the office. It's udderly adorable.

It has been a fantastic year for BBYO-Wisconsin Region! We’ve had meaningful Judaic programs, teens running for elected leadership positions, and innovative social justice programs.
These important programs are only possible thanks to the support of members of our Milwaukee Jewish community – leaders like you. BBYO is in the final leg of our 2011-2012 Annual Campaign but its not too late to donate this year.
Our Milwaukee Jewish community should be very proud of our local BBYO program. Every charitable investment in BBYO counts! Friends of Rosie Frydman Endowment Fund
The Frydman Family is happy to announce that they have set-up the Friends of Rosie Frydman endowment fund in honor of their Sister/Aunt that passed away in October, Rosemarie "Rosie" Frydman. Rosie was a life long involved member of Wisconsin Region and is deeply missed.
This endowment fund was created to be used for programming purposes. If you would like to donate to the Friends of Rosie Frydman endowment fund, you can do so by contacting the Milwaukee Jewish Community Foundation at 414-390-5737.

BBYO International Teen Presidents Attend White House Reception

BBYO's new 2012 - 2013 International Teen Presidents Sarah Minion and Logan Miller represented some of the Jewish community’s top leaders this month at the Jewish American Heritage Month reception at the White House.
“We were so honored to be considered not just as leaders of tomorrow’s Jewish community, but leaders of today,” said Logan Miller, Grand Aleph Godol. “Having the opportunity to speak to members of Congress and tell them about what BBYO was accomplishing was inspiring for us as Sarah and I kick off our year of work together.”

J-Serve 2012 Experiences Record Year: 10,000+ Teens From Nine Countries Volunteered!
What does it look like when a movement of over 10,000 teens make a committment to serve their community. Dozens of gardens groomed, meals served, books read, senior centers visited, walks and blood drives organized, rallies planned and 92 communities in nine countries changed for the better.

2012 - 2013 International Boards Gather to Set Priorities
The 88th AZA and 68th BBG International Boards gathered together over Memorial Day weekend in Washington, DC to set the goals and priorities for their Orders next school year! Their work focused on ensuring strong chapters, engaging middle school students through BBYO Connect, committing to Israel and expanding BBYO's global movement. They also worked diligently to begin planning August Execs Conference and International Convention 2013. BBYO Hires Three Directors of Jewish Enrichment
BBYO is pleased to announce the hire of three Directors of Jewish Enrichment (DJE). These positions were made possible through a generous grant of $1.9 million over three years by the Jim Joseph Foundation of San Francisco. The DJEs will enable BBYO to deepen the Jewish experiential learning offered to its teen-led community and prepare Jewish teens for a lifetime of Jewish involvement.

Invite a Rising Freshman to Experience AZA or BBG
Making the transition into high school isn't easy, but knowing you have a circle of friends in AZA and BBG can ease the anxiety, not to mention offer fun opportunities to make new friends, develop leadership skills, and connect you with your community. If you think of your friends, cousins, classmates, neighbors or colleagues, you likely know a rising high school freshman who would benefit from AZA or BBG membership. Invite them to register at bbyo.org/membership. Registering today ensures that they receive information on all opening school year activities.
