Want to see current events in action? Join teens from around the country for two days in Phoenix, AZ as they get a first hand look at the national immigration debate at ID: A Jewish Teen Summit on Immigration and together answer the following questions: .

  • What does it mean to be an immigrant in the United States?
  • Who is affected by the immigration issue?
  • How does Arizona relate to the national debate?
  • How does Judaism relate to the immigration issue? What are Jewish perspectives/teachings about immigration?
  • What's my role?

Regardless of your nationality, location or political views this issue directly impacts you - come and learn how to have an informed voice and how you can be involved.

This December, teenagers from across the country will convene in Phoenix, AZ for two intensive days of learning about Jewish values, political activism, and immigration. The schedule will include a range of activities, including:

  • Meetings with advocacy experts and politicians dedicated to changing the way our country responds to immigration
  • Local experts in the immigration debate and its effect on the local community
  • Interactive and informative activities designed to teach the core concepts relating to immigration and the current debate

Who Can Attend?

ID: A Jewish Teen Summit on Immigration is open to all Jewish teens in 9th - 12th grade. Teens can sign up for the summit as a group or on their own.Feel free to bring a friend and share the experience together!

What's the Cost and Are Scholarships Available?

Special funding has underwritten the entire seminar, allowing us to charge a very low tuition of only $125, or an even lower cost of $75 for anyone also registered to attend any of our associated BBYO winter conventions. Registration will remain open for this event through Friday, December 10, 2010. The tuition includes local transportation, rooming and vegetarian meals. Travel costs to and from Phoenix are not included.
