A Teen Issue Summit on Human Rights and Genocide Summit

Registration is now Open for the Second Annual HRGS!

June 3-5, 2012 in Washington, DC

Teens from across North America are invited to Washington, DC, to take part in an extraordinary experience – a Jewish Teen Summit on Human Rights and Genocide.

At the Summit we'll explore:

  • What is Genocide?
  • Where are Human Rights being challenged?
  • What's the Jewish response to genocide?
  • What can I do?

For three days in the U.S. capital, a diverse group of Jewish teens from across North America will come together to learn about genocide and how they can stand up and speak out against these worldwide atrocities. They will hear from activists, meet with their Members of Congress or speak with officials at the Canadian Embassy, and most importantly, they will walk away from this Teen Issue Summit with increased knowledge about human rights and genocide, enhanced skills as a community leader, and a greater understanding of their own civic responsibility.

The Human Rights and Genocide Summit is a Panim el Panim experience brought together by the BBYO Panim Institute in cooperation with the March of the Living.

“For the first time in my life, I was able to blend my Jewish values with my passion for service. Panim el Panim taught me a lot about what it means to be Jewish in today’s world.” - Adam Bradlow
