BBYO Alumna Speaks to 10,000 Israel Activists at AIPAC Policy Conference
June 3, 2011
If BBYO is an experience that builds confident leaders for our Jewish future, Gabbi Baker is an excellent example. Gabbi, a BBG alumna from Columbia, SC and a rising junior at George Washington University, had the remarkable opportunity to speak in front of 10,000 Israel activists at AIPAC's Policy Conference in May.
Gabbi spoke about engaging family in supporting AIPAC, and was lucky to share her speech on stage with her father. Gabbi said she was offered the special opportunity to speak at Policy Conference after becoming involved in AIPAC's Student Speaker's Bureau.
"The experience was completely unreal and solidified my commitment to supporting the U.S.-Israel relationship," said Gabbi. "If it weren't for BBYO, I wouldn't be there. I wouldn't have found AIPAC or my voice to support causes I care about. I owe it all to BBYO."
Congratulations on your accomplishment, Gabbi!
