Summer 2010 will be a one of a kind experience! With a menu of more than 20 programs designed for all Jewish teens regardless of BBYO membership, BBYO Summer Experiences allows teens to build a dream summer trip to best suit their interests. Teens interested in travel, community service, Judaism, outdoor adventure, college prep or leadership will find a multitude of options to develop leadership skills within a community of Jewish teens who will become lifelong friends.
Included in BBYO’s menu this summer are:
- Leadership Development: BBYO’s flagship experiences, Chapter Leadership Training Conference (CLTC), International Leadership Training Conference (ILTC), have been enhancing the leadership skills of BBYO members for decades. Teens return home with a renewed energy and skill set to produce excellence in their chapters and regions.
- Service and Advocacy: Through the PANIM Institute of Jewish Leadership and Values of BBYO, BBYO offers programs for teens to participate in hands on community service and social justice experiences while travelling the world through its umbrella of programs called Summer of Impact: An Activist’s Adventure. Teens can select programs in Washington, DC, Boston, the American Southwest or Israel to live with their peers and participate in exciting cultural, service and enrichment activities.
- World Travel: BBYO Passport to the World is a teen’s ticket to a trip offering once-in- a –lifetime social networking, educational and cultural opportunities in 15 countries throughout Israel, Europe, Central America and North America.
- Judaic Identity and Spirituality: Kallah is BBYO’s inspiring opportunity to connect to Jewish culture, thought and rituals in a caring community. One of BBYO’s fastest growing programs for three years now, Kallah requires no formal background in Jewish education.
