Regional Leadership Training Institute is where our region will gather together for the first time of the year to truly strengthen our leadership skills and grow our community. Teens will be split up into different teams in which they will get the opportunity to learn how to effectively work, collaborate and communicate with one another as they plan programs and services for the convention. Attendees will will participate in educational leadership workshops and invigorating electives where they will broaden their knowledge of AZA, BBG and BBYO. An inspiring Shabbat, including a variety of engaging Shabbat Services and electives, will also be held. Here, teens will have the opportunity to explore their Jewish Identity and connect with their community. The leadership skills learned at RLTI will help teens thrive throughout their time in BBYO and beyond.

New Member Weekend is a once in BBYO career opportunity where teens get their first look into how we truly move our movement. This experience gives teens the opportunity to learn valuable leadership skills within and beyond the realms of BBYO, including program planning, recruitment, fundraising, and marketing. Not to mention, our teens will begin to create lifelong friendships with Jewish teens in local communities. There is also an inspiring Shabbat service, and a special induction ceremony that helps culminate the convention as we send our members on their journey within BBYO. This is the perfect convention for teens aspiring to be on chapter board, have held 1-2 chapter board positions or who are just beginning to get the feeling for BBYO. This experience usually sells out! Register early to secure your spot!

BBYO's AZA BBG International Convention is when our order will come together with thousands of Alephs, B'nai B'rith Girls and Jewish teens from across the world to gather together with alumni, advisors, professionals, friends of BBYO and leading philanthropists to celebrate the largest annual pluralistic gathering of Jewish teens working to strengthen the Jewish future. Attendees will hear from prominent speakers, participate in community-wide service learning opportunities and celebrate an inspiring Shabbat. Delegates will take part in the democratic process of furthering our organization's business and elect AZA and BBG's next international executive teen leadership, all while showcasing spirit and community pride. Don't miss the chance to be a part of our Movement's biggest moment!

During Council Convention, all chapters within DC Council will come together for a weekend of tradition, reflection and excitement. Participants will get the opportunity to attend engaging, meaningful and truly excellent programs throughout the weekend, including an inspiring Shabbat. One of the most meaningful parts of this convention is that teens get to listen to seniors reflect upon their past years in BBYO at the Lifetimes Ceremony. Our teens will also get the opportunity to have their voices heard as we elect the new DC Council board for the upcoming year. We will culminate the excitement and progress from the year behind us as we prepare for the following year to come.
