BBYO is the leading pluralistic teen movement aspiring to involve more Jewish teens in more meaningful Jewish experiences. For more than 80 years, BBYO has provided exceptional identity enrichment and leadership development experiences for hundreds of thousands of Jewish teens. The young women’s division is called BBG (B’nai B’rith Girls), while the young men’s division is AZA (Aleph Zadik Aleph).
Big Apple Region BBYO serves Jewish teens (9-12 grades) in the five boroughs of New York City with a diverse menu of chapter, regional and international programming. The 15 chapters across the region provide an outlet for teens to create and participate in experiences that develop leadership skills, a strong Jewish identity and a build community in which teens can explore social issues that are meaningful to their lives.
