Chapter Leadership Training Conference (CLTC) is designed for AZA and BBG members who want to learn how to build and strengthen their chapters. Each session welcomes a community of fewer than 100 teens and is staffed by BBYO professionals. A typical day at CLTC includes leadership classes, “how to” sessions, evening programs, chapter planning and supervised free time. At CLTC, you will meet teens from across North America, form mock chapters and learn targeted skills that will help you strengthen and lead your chapter at home.
As a part of the CLTC community, you will grow personally as you develop as a leader and explore your Jewish identity.
Chapter Leadership Training Conference (CLTC) is the place for teens in 9th and 10th grade who are starting to figure out what it means to be a leader and who want to enjoy the best parts of the teen years – making friends, discovering new interests and having a memorable summer. With eight sessions to choose from, each with fewer than 100 teens, participants join a welcoming community where each member can shine. The sessions are all staffed by high-energy and dedicated BBYO staff and year-round advisors. At CLTC, teens form “mock chapters” where they learn Sean Covey’s The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens, plan and run programs that highlight AZA and BBG values (brotherhood, sisterhood, leadership, social action, education, Jewish heritage and more) and grow and develop as leaders and individuals.
At CLTC, teens will have a meaningful summer, and it’ll aslo be fun! They’ll make strong frienships while enjoying a summer camp setting, during chofesh (free time), when leading and celebrating Shabbat and so much more!
