MORE ABOUT BBYO SUMMER EXPERIENCES

CLTC - CHAPTER LEADERSHIP TRAINING CONFERENCE

CLTC has become such a hit since it was established on an International level in 1977 at B'nai B'rith Beber Camp that it has expanded to 7 sessions at 2 locations!

Each session of CLTC is made up of fewer than 100 Alephs and B'nai B'rith Girls interested in becoming the best chapter leaders they can be. The small size of each session offers these members the chance to create a true community of best friends with whom they'll learn, lead, and have fun!

The emphasis at CLTC is on building leadership skills applicable to the BBYO environment, but also to the community at large. Jewish values also play a large part in CLTC—members plan and lead daily morning services (Shacharit) as well as Shabbat services. Additionally, participants learn about service, advocacy, and philanthropy while choosing and raising money for a BBYO Stand UP cause.

Each CLTC session is staffed by a Site Director, Leadership Director, Leadership Staff, a Jewish Educator, a Song Leader, Israeli counselors (sh'lichim), an Office Manager, and college-age counselors (madrichim).

Is CLTC for you? It's a great option for AZA and BBG members who are current or aspiring chapter leaders, have attended (or are interested in attending) regional leadership conventions, and/or are rising sophomore and junior members who haven't yet been to an International BBYO program!

ILTC - INTERNATIONAL LEADERSHIP TRAINING CONFERENCE

ILTC is a 19-day leadership experience that welcomes about 250 Alephs and BBGs to B'nai B'rith Perlman Camp.

Modeled after CLTC, ILTC's primary focus is on leadership at the council, regional, and/or international level. Leadership skills are learned not only in classroom settings, but also through hands-on, interactive activities with friends from around the world in BluePrint groups. Jewish learning happens daily through Limmud sessions and, especially, at teen-led Shabbat morning (Shacharit) and evening (Mincha) services.

ILTC is staffed by a Site Director, Program Director, Director of Jewish Life, Leadership Director, Leadership Staff, Jewish Educators, Song Leaders, Israeli counselors (sh'lichim), other guests and specialists, an Office Manager, and college-age counselors (madrichim).

Is ILTC for you? It's a great option for AZA and BBG members who are current or aspiring regional leaders, have attended any regional leadership conventions, have attended CLTC (not required), and/or are rising juniors and seniors!

Immediately after ILTC is International Kallah, a 21-day Jewish learning experience. Many teens who go to ILTC choose to connect to Kallah as well to make it a Perlman Summer!

INTERNATIONAL KALLAH

Kallah is a 21-day Jewish learning experience that welcomes about 260 Alephs and BBGs to B'nai B'rith Perlman Camp.

A place where Jewish learning happens the way that works for you, Kallah helps find answers to your questions about Judaism, and offers even more questions. You're able to form your own educated opinions about the different meanings and ways of being Jewish through relationships and conversations with educators, expert guests, and friends from Jewish communities around the world. Limmud sessions offer structured time for learning, electives offer a different way to look at Judaism, and teen-led Shabbat morning (Shacharit) and evening (Mincha) services offer the chance to create truly meaningful Jewish experiences like no other.

Kallah is staffed by a Site Director, Program Director, Director of Jewish Life, Leadership Director, Leadership Staff, Jewish Educators, Song Leaders, Israeli counselors (sh'lichim), other guests and specialists, an Office Manager, and college-age counselors (madrichim).

Is Kallah for you? It's a great option for AZA and BBG members who hold positions at the chapter, council, or regional level, have attended any conventions focused on Judaism, have participated in AZA and BBG Global Shabbat, have a passion for Judaism, and/or are rising juniors and seniors!

Immediately before Kallah is ILTC, an 19-day leadership experience. Many teens who go to Kallah choose to connect to ILTC beforehand to make it a Perlman Summer!
