CLTC 7, day 7

Welcome to day seven at CLTC 7! During their Skill Session rotations, teens were able to focus on Jewish Leadership, knowing your audience, and program planning. In the afternoon, teens had the opportunity to hear about BBYO's different movement priorities: Stand UP, Speak Up, Globalization and Voice your Vote. Each chapter will be planning a program based on one of those priorities. The chapters competed in an exciting "Jello Jousting" tournament in order to decide which chapter would plan what program. One member was chosen to represent their chapter in the tournament. In order to play, each participant must balance Jello on the end of a long spoon, with their other hand held behind their back. Once the tournament began, the teens tried to knock the Jello off of their opponent's spoon without dropping their own. The event was both exciting and entertaining for everyone.
With over half of CLTC behind us, many of the participants are starting to shape their experiences into skills that they can bring home with them:
"Today I went to a session on proper program planning in a chapter, and it was amazing. It helped me grow the energy and passion I have for programming." -Miriam Weinraub, Rocky Mountain Region.
"So far, I have really enjoyed CLTC. Meeting new people and learning about BBYO has been so much fun." Garrett Getlin, Great Midwest Region.
"Today, I was taught how to plan a meaningful program while still make it fun. That is such an important skill, and I'm happy I got to talk about it." -Grant Kramer, Lonestar Region.
