Impact: DC JAM
Spend the summer in downtown Washington, DC in leadership training with other teens passionate about politics, community service, and activism. You will meet experts, participate in hands-on service projects and develop skills to pioneer change and impact the issues you care about. Explore DC through field trips and hear legislative updates from leading experts on domestic and international policy issues.
DC JAM participants get first-hand answers to their questions from Senator John McCain
- Live on the campus of The George Washington University - a short walk from the White House, the State Department and the Lincoln Memorial.
- Do direct-service projects with organizations that tackle some of society's most challenging issues.
- Learn the ABC's of effective advocacy from leading activists and policy makers.
- Take part in lobbying sessions with public officials.
- Explore Washington, D.C. 's many museums, monuments and sites.
