About Us
About Pacific Western Region
BBYO Pacific Western Region (PWR) is comprised of over 18 chapters throughout Southern California, representing over 700 Jewish teens in our area. By becoming a member of PWR, teens are afforded the opportunity to experience local programming in their communities, regional programming such as dances, community service days, sports events, and weekend-long conventions, and international programming at large scale conferences and BBYO Summer Experiences.
Our chapters hold events most weekends at locations around the region. Events are planned by teens, for teens and programming ranges from fun activities like laser tag to more serious programming around social justice, brotherhood and sisterhood, advocacy, and leadership development. A parent, advisor, or regional staff member is always on hand to ensure safety and health.
Fun Fact: PWR's spirit color is purple and our mascot is the Wolf. We are the PWR Wolfpack!
Through youth-led and staff-supported programs, BBYO gives our members opportunities to develop leadership skills and positively affect their communities, the world, and themselves. We constantly strive to provide more Jewish teens with more meaningful Jewish experiences each and every day, so that they may become the future Jewish leaders in their communities and in the Jewish world at large.
This program is partially funded by a grant from the Jewish Community Foundation Orange County.

Do you want to make a significant impact in the lives of Jewish teens? Consider becoming a BBYO advisor, and help a generation of Jewish teens to reach their full potential! Advisors work in partnership with professional staff to supervise and guide AZA and BBG chapters. Advisors serve as positive Jewish role models, exploring challenges and seeking solutions with (not for) the teens, and encouraging BBYO members to strive for excellence.
