J-Serve is an annual nation-wide community service project where teens from all over the world participate together in amazing Tikkun Olam programming! Central Council J-Serve will be held March 19 from 1pm-4pm and will include activities such as socializing and preparing Shabbat boxes for home-bound seniors, burying old Jewish books, working with Holocaust survivors, making teddy bears for kids with cancer, and so much more! Please note that some of these activities will be off the Solomon Schechter Campus where buses will take the teens back and forth. Waivers will be requested from all participants on behalf of the Jewish Federation of Monmouth County and only those that fill it out can participate in the off-campus activities. Teens will also get community service hours for this amazing mitzvah of gemilut chesed!
