DRIVING

  • In the event of stormy weather during the weekend of your ski trip, we will assess driving conditions and keep you informed on how to move forward (eg, procedures, snow chains and cancellations).
  • The event will take place at Mt High Ski Resort, Wrightwood CA. The resort is a quick 1.5 hr drive from LA. We recommend taking highway 15 through San Bernardino County.
  • There is paid parking at the resort and additional parking just a quick shuttle ride away. We always recommend showing up early (before 8 am) to secure a spot as close as possible.

SAFETY

  • Ski lessons will be taught by trained professionals and done in an organized manner. Please listen to the safety instructions and follow your guides lead. Do not try anything without the correct supervision.
  • Ski resort floors can get icy and/or slippery, please wear appropriate boots or shoes for the day and take precaution when walking around. We recommend slowing your pace down and making sure your feet are planted.
  • Don’t forge to hold on to the railings.
  • Skiing, when done in a controlled environment, is a safe sport. Accidents are rare but they can occur.
  • Please double check your health insurance coverage to make sure skiing is covered. In the event that it is not, please reach out for sport insurance recommendations.
