  of you are leaving for BBYO summer programs\, camp or family vacations s
 oon. As a newly elected chapter or council board member you are invited t
 o Eastern Region’s Regional Execs Convention!\n\nAlthough we will be back
  to holding in-person conventions in the fall\, they will look a little b
 it different. We do not have all the details yet\, as COVID protocols con
 tinue to change\, but we will share all details in August once everything
  is finalized.  \n\nFor chapters that do not have boards we have identifi
 ed YOU as a growing leader in your community and want to invite you to at
 tend Regional Execs in-person.\n\nThe news you have been waiting for: REG
 IONAL EXECS IS NOW OPEN! This is a crucial year for us to be together in-
 person and get back to what is most important: having fun\, creating memo
 ries and being with our Eastern Region community. At Regional Execs you c
 an look forward to Shabbat moments\, learning how to strengthen your chap
 ter\, bonding with leaders of Eastern Region and tons more!\n\nThe theme 
 of the weekend is LEADERS UNITE: READY\, SET\, EXECS!\n\nWe are excited t
 o train the new leaders across Eastern Region and see what they will brin
 g home to their communities. Throughout the weekend\, we will act as one\
 , connecting councils\, championing our goals and changing the way our re
 gion works together to better ourselves and others for the future. See be

 rn Region Regional Execs Convention 2022-August 26-28 Camp Weaver\, Green
 sboro\, NC\n\nATTENDEES:  All Council Board members and all chapter board
  members from Southeast\, North Carolina and Virginia Councils along with
  selected emerging leaders. \n\nPURPOSE: To bring together Eastern Region
  leadership for a weekend of training\, education\, goal setting and plan
 ning.  \n\nCOST AND REGISTRATION: The cost of the convention is $260 (not
  including transportation). Registration is open and will close on Sunday
 \, August 14th at midnight.\n\nTO REGISTER:\nRegister for Convention – go
  to Eastern Regional Execs  and fill out our secure registration form  \n
 Make sure you are answering all questions\nIf you are having a problem re

 ill not be given if you cancel the week of the convention.      \n\nSCHOL
 ARSHIPS: Scholarships are available for Regional Execs Convention. The de
 adline to submit scholarship applications is Sunday\, August 7th at midni
 ght. The scholarship form must be completed online at: https://bbyo.org/s
 cholarship-form. Each family will be contacted\, via email\, by the regio
 nal office with the amount of scholarship awarded the week of August 8th.
  Once you accept the scholarship\, the regional office will register you 
 for the convention and then you can pay the balance. If you are requestin
 g scholarship money\, please do not register online until awards are anno
 unced. \n\nREQUIRED FORMS: BBYO partners with CampDoc\, the leading elect
 ronic health record system.  All participants and parents are required to
  complete a health file before attending a BBYO convention. Once you have
  registered for the convention\, you will receive an email inviting you t
 o join CampDoc. Accept the invitation and complete or update all forms. T
 hese forms provide dietary\, medical and other important information. Tee
 ns will not be allowed to attend without a complete profile. \n\nSUPERVIS
 ION: The convention will be staffed by BBYO professionals and chapter adv
 isors. There will be 1 staff person for every 15 teens.   \n\nACCOMMODATI
 ONS AND WHAT TO BRING: Please bring toiletries\, sleeping bag\, pillow\, 
 towel\, nice clothes for Friday night Shabbat\, a laptop\, a notebook and
  clothing for inclement weather. A full packing list will go out the week
  before convention. The teens will be staying in air-conditioned cabins. 
 The food will be kosher style – no mixing of milk and meat. When meat is 
 served it is kosher.   \n\nEMERGENCY: BBYO Emergency # 804-402-1036\n\nAR
 RIVAL/DEPARTURE/TRANSPORTATION: Registration will begin at 5:00pm and din
 ner will be served at 7:30pm on Friday\, August 26th. The convention will
  end on Sunday\, August 28th at noon. We are currently working on finaliz
 ing transportation from each city and will be in touch prior to conventio
 n about transportation details. Transportation cost is not included in th
 e convention fee. Teens are never allowed to drive to BBYO conventions.
