March of the Living

Stakeholder Experience

April 19-22, 2020
Core Trip to Poland

April 19-26, 2020
Core Trip Plus Optional Extension in Poland

DESCRIPTION

BBYO’s approach to March of the Living is unique: teens and survivors side by side, line between teacher and student blurred—the experience made all the more powerful. Together, old and young march in remembrance of the darkest chapter in human history and vow to stamp out the prejudice, hatred, and intolerance that persists in the world today.

This year, BBYO is convening a special group of stakeholders to experience March of the Living with us. This opportunity – available only to select individuals – will allow you to see Poland through the eyes of teens as they bear witness alongside Holocaust survivors. As the years approaching are sadly some of the last that survivors will make the journey, the urgency to march together is greater than ever.

Extending above-and-beyond the typical March of the Living trip, this experience includes:

  • Intimate discussions with survivors and Krakow community leadership

  • Private tours of historic Polish sites

  • Conversations with BBYO’s teen leadership about their experiences
