BBYO Invites You to Celebrate a Defining Decade

Contribute to BBYO's Time Capsule Today!

This spring commemorates a defining decade for BBYO since it became independent from its parent organization, B’nai B’rith International, in 2002. Over the last decade, we've been proud to lead a thriving organization that today reaches over 35,000 teens annually and 250,000 alumni throughout the world. To celebrate this ten year anniversary, teens, parents, advisors and alumni can claim a part of BBYO’s history by submitting pictures, quotes, messages and names into a digital Time Capsule marking the years 2002 to 2012, BBYO’s first decade as an independent organization. This Time Capsule will serve as the inaugural volume of BBYO’s official online archive that will be compiled by members and friends in the years to come.

BBYO, Camp Interlaken and MJDS Sponsored SOLD OUT "BULLY" Movie Screening

Committed to respect and inclusion, BBYO, Camp Interlaken and MJDS were proud to sponsor a special screenings of “BULLY,” a feature-length documentary that depicts “a year in the life” of North America’s bullying crisis on Monday Night, April 16th.

We had a SOLD OUT crowd of over 260 people fill the Marcus North Shore for the FREE screening made possible by a gift of the David David Tolerance Education Fund.

Everyone present walked away changed...in how they think about bullying and how they are going to think about bullying moving forward.

BBYO encourages its members and supporters to STAND UP againist BULLYING. It is not and should not be a part of our BBYO culture.

For those looking to take action against bullying now, BBYO is collecting signatures from teens and their families as a part of BBYO’s Stand UP for Each Other Campaign for Respect and Inclusion, a grassroots effort focused on creating safe and welcome communities for all Jewish teens. All signatures will contribute towards The Bully Project’s goal to reach one million teens with an important message to take action and put an end to bullying.

Israel: Before and After

Teens have been traveling to Israel with BBYO since 1956, gaining the unique opportunity for personal exploration and growth. Research has shown that teens who experience Israel during their high school years return with a deeper sense of Jewish identity and connection to Israel. This past summer BBYO Passport captured this transformation on film. In this two-minute documentary, we invite you to follow the transformations of teens before and after their experience in Israel.
