BBYO Stand UP and Speak UP Chapter Initiatives are here!
BBYO Stand UP and Speak UP Chapter Initiatives are a great way to infuse strong non-business programs into your chapter calendars!
Did you know that one in three high school students have experienced sexual abuse, physical abuse, or threats of physical abuse from a dating partner? Our latest initiative, Girls Achieve Grapeness in partnership with Jewish Women International, is a unique Stand UP program in support of domestic violence awareness. With our exclusive OPI nail polish color, “Girls Achieve Grapeness,” you will let the world know you Stand UP to end violence against women. Use the programming resources here to help make this event your own!
Check back regularly for updates on new chapter programs for BBYO Stand UP and Speak UP! For specific program consultation, contact Joey Eisman for Speak UP for Israel, and Rebecca Cohen for BBYO Stand UP.
Are You Ready to “Ban Bossy”?
BBYO is proud to partner with BBYO alumna and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg’s Lean In Foundation (LeanIn.Org) and the Girl Scouts of the USA to #BanBossy. Led by our BBG chapters, BBYO will share Ban Bossy resources that focus on strengthening leadership skills for young women, goal setting for co-ed groups, identifying and promoting positive female examples of leadership and providing parents, teachers, counselors and managers hands-on strategies for supporting female leadership.
