BBYO NY is excited to announce our Fall Kickoff. Join us on Oct 18th at 4:00pm on zoom as we celebrate the start of the 2020-2021 programming year. We are excited to welcome guest speaker, Lauren Patten, to join us for the event. Lauren Patten is an American actress and singer best known for originating the role of Jo in the Broadway musical Jagged Little Pill, as well as playing the role of Medium Alison in the Broadway production of Fun Home. We also have suprise celebrity cameos planned for the day as well!

Can I watch Kickoff in-person with friends?

  • YES! We encourage chapters to meet in small groups to watch kickoff together
  • Your local BBYO social distancing policies MUST be followed
  • Chapter presidents in BAR are responsible for coordinating these in-person gatherings
  • Other regions contact your regional staff for guidelines
  • All people attending the in-person gathering must be registered for Regional Kickoff

What can I expect during Kickoff?

  • Celebrating the start of the year with the Regional Board
  • Hear about exciting upcoming events
  • 35-minute talk by Lauren Patten about her experiences on Broadway
  • 15-minute Q&A with Lauren Patten
  • Celebrity cameo appearences

Will there be a Meet and Greet?

  • There will be an EXCLUSIVE MEET AND GREET after Kickoff for just 10 teens! 
  • Every new member who joins BBYO (starting September 20) will be entered into a raffle drawing for 5 spots at the Meet and Greet.
  • For our current members: the top 5 recruiters of new members through this time period will be invited to the Meet and Greet!
