Wait! I have prom that weekend!

• We are aware that some teens may need to leave convention in the middle for a prom or other school-related event. This is allowed under a specific set of circumstances:

  • Teens who will not be at convention from start to finish must fill out a form that will be posted on this page after Passover. This will also be sent by email to all families.

  • A designated adult must pick up the teen at the hotel at the designated time. Teens who are not picked up by a designated adult will not be allowed to return and will not receive a refund.

  • Teens who leave Saturday night for Prom may not return until Sunday morning.

  • Teens must be dropped off at the hotel by a designated adult. A teen who returns alone will not be allowed back into the convention.

  • No discount or partial charge will be given for teens who leave and return to convention, as we are required to pay the hotel for them to be there the whole time.

What does the registration cost cover?

The convention price is comparable to other pre-pandemic Spring Conventions.  It's our commitment to provide high-quality, high-value programming and an experience that you and your teens won't forget. 

• Meals: dinner Friday through breakfast Sunday

• Hotel accommodations (teens will sleep four to a room, sharing a bed with one other person)

• All programming materials 

• Swag (apparel, BBYO lanyard, etc.) 

Safety and Security:

The safety and security of our teens is our number one priority. We work hard to keep as low of a profile as possible for our events and ask that you do not publicly post information about Spring's timing and location. We will have private security on site in addition to what is provided by the hotel.

Financial Aid:

You can apply for need-based financial aid, and all financial aid applications are due by 4/1/24 at 11:59 PM! Please ensure you register for Spring Convention before applying for financial aid. If this is an issue, please reach out to [email protected]. 

Financial aid will work the same as in previous years. We work with BBYO International’s standardized scholarship process, based on an IRS form threshold, in order to make the process more equitable to our families. Please note that the process will work as follows: 

• You will need to fill out a financial aid request form at the following link: BBYO Online Scholarship Application 

• You will receive an email from our team indicating your scholarship allocation decision by April 19. All scholarship applicants will have their award deducted from the early bird or flash sale price (whichever time period they registered during), as they will be notified of their award after the deadline.

• If you accept the request, please log onto your myBBYO Account and pay any remaining balance.

• Note: we cannot allocate full scholarships 

Cancellation Policy:

The deadline to cancel with a full program refund is the final registration deadline for this program. Until that date, full refunds will be granted for cancellations in writing (e-mail is acceptable), for any reason. After the registration deadline, partial refunds are not guaranteed, but may be available based on convention expenses already paid (hotel, transportation, etc.). Within ten days of convention we’ve already confirmed final counts with our vendors, and no refunds will be given. “No shows” will not receive a refund.
