Event Details
Join Alephs from across the region as we come together for Delta’s Annual Turkey Bowl from December 3-5, 2021, in Memphis, TN. Families from Peres and Okeon AZA are opening their home to their brothers from around the region, for a weekend-long brotherhood experience, and they could not be more ready to have you.... and to play some football 🏈
WHAT TO EXPECT 👀
Friday evening, we will all join for Shabbat and some pre-tourney excitement, play football during the day Saturday followed by a long chofesh to enjoy lunch around Memphis, and we'll cap off the weekend with a Saturday night social at Dave and Busters with the Memphis BBG's. The weekend will come to an end on Sunday morning when we will say goodbye to our friends from all over the region until we meet again in April at Spring Convention!
ATTENDEES: This brotherhood weekend is open to any Aleph BBYO member in grades 8-12 in the Delta Region, BBYO staff, and advisors.
COST PER TEEN: $65, including food, snacks, and housing. Please bring money for lunch on Saturday's chofesh/lunch break.
TRANSPORTATION: Transportation registration is done by city. Your City Director/Advisor will be in touch with information on how to sign up. Transportation and logistics email will go out one week prior to the convention and will include transportation info and timing for each city. Please note teens are never allowed to drive to BBYO overnights. If you are an Aleph that lives outside of Memphis, Nashville or Birmingham you are welcome to register but are responsible for your own transportation to and from Memphis.
REGISTRATION: Registration will open November 11th & close on Sunday, November 28th at midnight. Late registrations will be accepted based on availability.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS AND FORMS: Beginning in August 2021, BBYO is requiring all teens, staff, and advisors to attend any overnight programs (chapter, city, council, regional, and international programs) based in the United States to be fully vaccinated (vax date plus two weeks). Currently, Moderna, Pfizer, Astra Zeneca, or Johnson & Johnson are the accepted vaccines.

BBYO works with CampDoc, the leading electronic health record system. All participants and parents are required to complete a health file before attending a BBYO convention. Once you have registered for the convention, you will receive an email inviting you to join CampDoc. Accept the invitation and complete or update all forms. These forms provide dietary, medical, and other important information. Teens will not be allowed to attend without a complete profile.
ACCOMMODATIONS AND WHAT TO BRING: A detailed packing list will be sent out in the weeks leading up to the convention. The teens traveling from outside of Memphis will be home-housed. If you live in Memphis we will not be arranging home-housing for you as an option.
