Event Details

Over the weekend of November 13-15, we will gather for the first time all together as a region. On Friday night we will join hundreds of teens from across the globe for a Shabbat Candle Lighting with Happie Hoffman and Eric Hunker. We will open up our spirited weekend as a region recognizing all of our chapters and celebrate the success we have made thus far. On Saturday, we will gather in-person at our respective locations in our communities to take part in the LIVE competition portion of the weekend. There will be a number of opt-in speakers to listen and interact with over zoom through out the day. Into the evening there will be a special comedian expierence, laughing the night away with your brothers and sisters from around the globe. Finally, on Sunday we will wrap up with an exclusive opt-in community moment. We can't wait to see you there!

Cost: $55.00

Q&A

All in-person portions of the convention will be taking place and will be limited to 10 teens and one adult and observe the following guidelines:

  • All teen participants and their parent/guardian must sign our COVID-19 Waiver before they will be permitted to attend (please see below for more information).

  • Events will be held at outdoor locations (weather permitting) or indoor locations that can meet social distancing standards.

  • Masks must be worn inside, and determinations for outdoor programs will be based on local guidance.

  • Everyone present must remain at least six feet apart.

  • Individuals should bring their own supplies/equipment (mask, hand sanitizer, computer, pen/paper, agenda, etc.) as well as their own snacks.

  • Temperature checks will be taken at all indoor gatherings.

  • PPE equipment and cleaning supplies will be on hand at all events.

COVID-19 WAIVER

  • Participants will not be allowed to attend the in-person convention programs without the submission of a waiver, and waivers must be signed by both the teen member and their parent/guardian. If your family has multiple children who participate in BBYO, a waiver must be signed for each teen.

We encourage you to sign the waiver as soon as possible—your signature does not make it compulsory for a teen to attend any events but will remain on file in your MyBBYO account and allow them to do so when the time comes.
