PURPOSE: This convention brings together our BBYO Eastern members for 3 days of creative and thought provoking programs as well as our traditional regional programs – celebrating Shabbat, life membership for seniors, AZA/BBG business meetings, 24 Limmud electives, a dance, the annual Regional’s talent show and Shuk. On Sunday, teens will get to select from a Jewish Enrichment, Community Service and AZAA/BBGG Track.  For the fourth consecutive year, teens and a staff from Eastern’s partner community, Zaporozhye in Ukraine, will be visiting Eastern prior to attending convention.

Speakers

This year we have two amazing keynote speakers, Erin Schrode and Alina Gerlovin Spaulding, who will help us celebrate BBG’s 75th birthday and speak on topics ranging from the Environment to Israel.  We will also be welcoming two additions to our Jewish Enrichment Team, Shalom Mayberg and Caleb Bromberg.  Both Shalom and Caleb have made a name for themselves at summer experiences and they’re excited to bring their talents to Eastern.  Additionally, Eric Hunker and Happie Hoffman, BBYO song leaders from Kallah and ILTC will be at the convention.

Cost: $360.00
