We are THRILLED to invite you to attend Eastern Region's first ever virtual Regional Convention, November 13th-15th! Regionals is our only convention that is open to any member of Eastern Region. Teens will experience Shabbat with our community, unique programming, AZA and BBG separates, awards and much more!

Registration is NOW OPEN and the cost of convention is $50. Our coordinators Leo Kamer and Leah Kaplan (Virginia Council), Harry Firestone and Avery Rosen (North Carolina Council) and Toby Stanton and Hadassah Sternfeld (Southeast Council) are already hard at work planning an incredible weekend for everyone! The theme for the weekend is "Gam Ze L'Tovah - This Too is for the Good", as these times of uncertainty have certainly made us stronger as a region. That is why we CANNOT WAIT to bring the entire region together for a weekend full of engaging programs, exciting speakers and meaningful Shabbat rituals! The six Council S'ganim, along with a team of over 20 teen leaders, are working hard to reinvent the warmth, joy and PRIDE that will always define Regional Convention. Eastern Region Virtual Regional Convention
November 13th-15th, 2020 on Zoom!

ATTENDEES: All members of Eastern Region BBYO!

PURPOSE: Regional Convention is our only convention open to all members of Eastern Region BBYO. This is our biggest programming convention of the year. Teens will participate in Shabbat services, separate AZA and BBG programming, several limmuds (electives) covering a variety of topics and so much more!

COST AND REGISTRATION: The cost of registration is $50. Registration is now open and will close at midnight on Sunday, November 1st, 2020.

If you are having trouble registering, please email [email protected]. Refunds will not be given if you cancel the week of convention. 

SCHOLARSHIP: Scholarships are available for Regional Convention. The deadline to submit a scholarship application is Sunday, October 25th. The scholarship form must be submitted online at https://bbyo.org/scholarship-form. Each family will be contacted, via email, by the regional office with the amount of scholarship awarded the week of October 26th. Once you accept the scholarship, the regional office will register you for the convention and then you can pay the remaining balance. If you are requesting scholarship money, please do not register online until awards are announced. 

WHAT TO BRING/HOW TO PREPARE: Please make sure you have a computer with a good internet connection and a space with no distractions when logging on to our virtual convention. Bring a positive attitude, big ideas and fun energy! We will be sending out more information the week before convention with more specifics on how to prepare for our time together.
