Join us at our Portland BBYO kickoff at Gabriel Park, on Tuesday, August 28th from 5:00pm-8:00pm, to start of the school year with a bang! We will have tons of fun outdoor games, music, water activities and dinner to share with both returning members and anyone interested in BBYO! This event is open to 8th-12th graders, you must register to attend! What is BBYO: BBYO is the leading pluralist Jewish youth movement, serving over 80,000 teens worldwide. It is a youth-led organization giving all Jewish teens, of all backgrounds the opportunity to develop leadership skills in an inclusive Jewish community. The teens meet once a week to take part in peer planned programs as well as periodic regional and international conventions aimed to aid in the development of teen leadership relating to core values: inclusivity, jewish identity, active leadership and tradition.

Portland BBYO has four chapters that meet at least once a week throguhout the school year. The teen leaders plan programs and events that incorporate the core values of BBYO!
