Event Details

Icebreakers- Have each BBG say their name, what school they go to, what grade she is in, and and fun fact about herself. She then will throw an ice cube at the wall and literally “break the ice”. This will be repeated for each BBG.

GI (Group Initiative):

Hula Hoop- Each team will have one hula hoop. They will all stand, and place one finger each under the hula hoop. The goal is to get the hoola hoop to the ground, and each teammate must keep their finder under, and touching the hoop at all times.

Nalgene- There will be a starting line, and about 10 feet away, a BBG will stand with a water bottle behind her. She is not facing the rest of the chapter. She will count to 3, and the chapter will run toward her. If she turns around sees someone move, they have to go back to the start. The goal is to have the chapter retrieve the water bottle from her legs and make it back to the start line without getting caught moving, and without getting caught with the water bottle in their hands. The whole team must get back to the start line with the bottle to complete the challenge.

Human Knot- Have everyone stand in a circle facing each other, shoulder to shoulder. Instruct everyone to put their right hand out and grab a random hand of someone across from them. Then, tell them to put their left hand out and grab another random hand from a different person across the circle. The group needs to untangle the knot of arms without releasing their hands.

Egg toss- The BBG’s will stand in 2 lines, facing each other. There is one egg. The BBG at the end will pass the egg to the BBG in front of her, and it will continue down the line. They will have to work together and use communication skills to get the ball to the end without it cracking.
