"August Execs" is an annual late-summer gathering of the Aleph Zadik Aleph's and B'nai B'rith Girls' highest-elected teen leadership (Teen Delegate) and professional staff (Staff Delegate) from across the BBYO community. During the conference, we train on skills, strategies, and tactics for the year ahead as a united Movement. As core leaders, we're challenged to focus on planning how to further the depth of chapter and community programming, expand AZA & BBG's reach through membership and involvement, and how to most effectively make the world a better place. Together, we will launch the agenda for the 2019-2020/5779-5780 Program Year for BBYO around the world.

WHAT ARE THE ARRIVAL DETAILS? 
Flights should be booked into BWI (Baltimore-Washington International) Airport on Thursday, August 15th. Please plan to arrive by 3:00 PM EST. Amtrak is also an option at BWI if preferred. All delegates will meet at the Southwest Airlines baggage claim. You'll take chartered buses together to Capital Camps.

WON'T WANT TO LEAVE, BUT HOW DO I? 
Flights or trains should be booked out of BWI (Baltimore-Washington International) Airport on Sunday, August 18th. Please do not book travel that departs before 3:00 PM EST. Delegates being picked up directly from the program should be picked up between 11:45 AM - 12:00 PM EST.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING? 
Basic toiletries, bedding, and towels are provided for all Teen and Staff Delegates. Check out the Spirit and Packing Guide for the full scoop on how to prepare. 

IS THIS EXCUSED FROM SCHOOL? 
Leading the Jewish people forward? You bet. If you need it, modify our School Excusal Letter Template and let us know if you need additional documentation.

WHAT DO I DO AFTER I FILL OUT THIS FORM? 
Great question! You have two more steps to complete, in partnership with your other Teen and Staff Delegates. 

  • Teen Delegate(s) and Staff Delegate(s) need to schedule a video call or in-person meeting to work through August Execs Prep Meeting #1 and complete their Content Form by Friday, June 7th. The link to the Content Form will be provided within the meeting agenda in May. 

  • Teen Delegate(s) and Staff Delegate(s) need to schedule a video call or in-person meeting to work through August Execs Prep Meeting #2 by Wednesday, August 14th.
