"August Execs'' is an annual gathering of the Aleph Zadik Aleph and B'nai B'rith Girls' highest-elected teen leadership (Teen Delegate) and professional staff (Staff Delegate) from across the BBYO community. During the conference, we’ll train as a united Movement on skills, strategies, and tactics as we plan for the year ahead. As core leaders, we have the privilege to focus on furthering the impact of chapter and community programming, expanding AZA & BBG's reach through membership and involvement, and taking our movement to the next level. As we begin an important year for our Movement, we’ll prepare to reach more Jewish teens through more meaningful Jewish experiences both in-person (where and when it’s safe) as well as online. Together, we will launch the agenda for the 2021-2022/5781-5782 Program Year for BBYO around the world.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING? 
In addition to your clothing (including masks!) and toiletries, you'll need to bring your own twin sheets, blanket, pillowcase, and towels. Note: the Shabbat dress code is "dressy casual," please pack accordingly.

IS THIS EXCUSED FROM SCHOOL? 
Leading the Jewish people forward? You bet. If you need it, modify our School Excusal Letter Template and let us know if you need additional documentation. 

WHAT DO WE DO THERE? 
Well, it's a whole lot of... awesome. We'll spend the days in epic programming, sharing best practices, learning about the latest and greatest tools, and working together to ensure that between every rotation, planning session, and hangout, you're getting everything you need to plan for a great year. WHAT ARE THE COVID-19 POLICIES?
In consultation with BBYO’s Medical Advisory Committee, BBYO is committed to enforcing policy and procedures for all individuals at camp to ensure the health and safety of our communities.While news and information about COVID is ever-changing, we are continuously updating how our programs may be affected. BBYO is working to prepare the necessary measures to limit the spread of COVID and to keep our teens, staff, and families healthy. We will continue to update our protocols based on the recommended guidelines issued by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), American Camp Association (ACA), as well as federal, state, and local governments.

The guidelines listed here provide families and staff with information about the policies and protocols BBYO is implementing to mitigate the risk of COVID at camp-based programs. BBYO reserves the right to update these guidelines as new information becomes available from the CDC, ACA, FDA, and other sources, throughout the summer. Please know this is a fluid document and, as information changes and evolves, so may our guidelines.

WHAT DO I DO AFTER I FILL OUT THIS FORM? 
Great question! You have two more steps to complete, in partnership with your other Teen Delegates and your community staff. 

  • Please complete the travel details form in your BBYO online profile under Program Alerts no later than Friday, May 27.

  • Schedule a meeting with all your Teen Delegates and community staff to work through your August Execs Prep Agenda. We recommend doing this once in May/June and then again right before you leave in August!

  • Sign up for the sessions and experiences you want to attend when you receive the form to do so in late July.
