Join us across the river from downtown Cincinnati from January 13-16th, 2017 for Regional Convention, KIO Region's only annual hotel convention, open to all registered members of KIO in grades 9,10,11 and 12. We'll celebrate our past year's accomplishments, have some cool programs on a variety of topics, and elect our 63rd AZA and BBG Regional Boards. REGULAR REGISTRATION: $369 (Ends Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017) LATE REGISTRATION: $389 (Begins Wednesday, January 4th, 2017 and is on a case by case basis dependent on room availability) MEMBERSHIP: This convention is for members only. Every effort will be made to pair everyone with at least one of their requests. SCHOLARSHIPS: Regional scholarships are available on KIO’s secure scholarship website at: https://bbyo.org/regionalscholarship/. Scholarships are due no later than Monday, December 26th, 2016, with award notifications announced by Wednesday, December 28th 2016. If you are applying for scholarship do not register for the event. Your scholarship application will serve as your event registration; therefore, there is no need to register for the event in b-linked at this time. Scholarship applicants are eligible for Flash Sale pricing based on the time stamp of their submitted scholarship application. MEDICAL FORMS (REQUIRED): BBYO has partnered with CampDoc, the leading electronic health record system for camps. Within days of registering for convention, you will receive an invitation from CampDoc to complete your teen’s profile. Medical information will need to be completed once per year in CampDoc regardless of how many programs your teen attends, including summer program. If there are medical updates throughout the year, you can log into the system and update your teen’s medical profile. All teens are required to have a completed CampDoc medical profile before attending convention. For those who already have a completed CampDoc profile please remember to update your medical profile with important changes; including prescriptions, new injuries & restrictions or the lifting of old restrictions, and anything else we need to know in order to care for your teens during convention. All maintenance in CampDoc should be completed by Wednesday, January 4th, 2017. CANCELLATION POLICY: There is a 100% refund for cancellation request received by Monday, January 2nd, 2017, and no refund for cancellations received after Monday, January 2nd, 2017. This will be strictly enforced. TRANSPORTATION: Transportation is included in the registration cost. BBYO City Directors will provide details regarding your community’s transportation schedule in the coming weeks. Departure times on Friday, Janaury 13th, 2017 for the majority of our communities will fall between 3:30 and 4:15pm. The convention ends on Monday, January 16th, 2017 and all buses will leave promptly at 11:00 a.m. Local Cincinnati teens will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the convention hotel.
