This convention is open to all members in good standing in grades 8th-12th grade. To become a member of BBYO or to renew your membership go to: http://bbyo.org/azabbg/membership/
Special Promo: Everyone who registers for KIO Spring Convention 2017 will have their registration fee waived for the following week's AZAA/BBGG weekend and will only be required to pay for transportation, and an entrance fee for those teens playing in the Drew Corson Basketball tournament. More details coming soon regarding AZAA/BBGG weekend.
For complete convention details, including information regarding transportation, scholarships and medical forms, please read all of the information below:
Scholarships: Regional scholarships are available on KIO’s secure scholarship website at https://bbyo.org/regionalscholarship/. Scholarships are due by Monday, February 20th, at 11:59pm. If you are applying for scholarship, your scholarship application will serve as your event registration; therefore, there is no need to register for the event in b-linked at this time. Scholarship applicants will be notified of the committees decision on Wednesday, February 22nd.
Required Medical Forms: BBYO has partnered with CampDoc, the leading electronic health record system for camps. If this is your teens first convention this school year, within days of registering for convention you will receive an invitation from CampDoc to complete your teen’s profile. Medical information will need to be completed once per year in CampDoc regardless of how many programs your teen attends, including summer program. If there are medical updates throughout the year, you can log into the system and update your teen’s medical profile. All teens are required to have a completed CampDoc medical profile before attending convention. For those of you with pre-existing profiles in CampDoc, please be sure to update your teens information in advance of the convention so we can be sure to provide your teen with the appropriate care they both need and deserve. All medical forms must be completed by Sunday, February 26th.
Transportation: Transportation is included in the registration cost. BBYO City Directors will provide details regarding your communities transportation schedule in the coming weeks.
Cancellation Policy: There is a 100% refund for cancellation request received by February 23rd, 2017, and no refund for cancellations received beginning February 24th, 2017. Please understand at this point we have locked in our numbers with our vendors and will be required to pay for your teen whether they attend convention or not.
