This members-only experience is bound to set the bar. All 8th-12th grade KIO Region teens are invited to Cincinnati, from April 21-23, 2023, for a Spring Convention like you've never seen before. Aside from diving deep into the uniqueness of our BBYO siblinghood, we will celebrate our past year and set our sights on what's to come.

After Basketball Convention we know that a weekend back together is what you need.

WHAT TO EXPECT 👀

Spring Convention is the topper on the cake! It's a weekend that includes unique regional programming, elections of your 69th Regional Board, a private evening off-site social, and so much more. The weekend is tied together on Sunday morning as we move to partake in J-Serve experiences like you've never seen before. Finally, we will wrap up this once of a kind weekend with a moment of celebration with the 2023 KIO awards banquet brunch.

COME J-SERVE WITH US!

Throughout April, teens from across the world will be participating in J-Serve; A unique opportunity to band together through service as a united global network committed to fulfilling the Jewish values of gemilut chasidim, acts of loving kindness, tzedakah, just and charitable giving, and tikkun olam, the responsibility to repair the world. This year, Jewish teens from across KIO Region will spend time on this special day and throughout the convention to make their community and the world a better place.

Cost: $400.00

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS AND FORMS:  Please view BBYOs updated Covid policy here.

BBYO highly recommends—but does not require—each participant be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including the most recent booster available. BBYO is following the guidance of many public health institutions, scientists, and medical professionals who have led the battle against the coronavirus and are recommending that people be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.

In addition, participants must arrive with a photo of a negative COVID-19 test taken the day of travel to their program or event with their name and the date written next to their test. At-home tests are acceptable.

BBYO works with CampDoc, the leading electronic health record system. All participants and parents are required to complete a health file before attending a BBYO convention. Once you have registered for the convention, you will receive an email inviting you to join CampDoc. Accept the invitation and complete or update all forms. These forms provide dietary, medical, and other important information. Teens will not be allowed to attend without a complete profile.
