Event Details

BBYO Manhattan Region is teaming up with BBYO Big Apple Region (Brooklyn/Queens) and BBYO Hudson Valley Region to put on our biggest BBYO overnight members-only event for New York teens this year! We're headed back to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Danbury, CT for a weekend of fun, friends, food, and unforgettable moments. This weekend getaway is completely planned and led by BBYO teen leaders and is the premiere New York showcase of the power and passion of BBYO. Teens run Shabbat services and a range of programs (from social to service to athletics) all weekend long.

And for the first time ever, BBYO Connecticut Valley Region will join our Convention Body on Saturday evening and hold their annual mental health awareness mega-event Stomp it Out! with our New York teens in the Crowne Plaza's Convention Ballroom. Stomp out stigmas around mental health and party with a purpose during the biggest dance of the year, with 400 Jewish teens from across the NY Metro Area, Connecticut, and Massachusetts!

Don't miss out on the event your friends will be talking about all year long. Register today!

Convention is open to any member of BBYO Manhattan Region in 9th through 12th grade. Register by November 21st to take advantage of early bird pricing. Scholarship is available. Click HERE to apply for scholarship. Applications are due by November 21st.

SHORTLY AFTER SUBMISSION OF THIS REGISTRATION FORM YOU WILL RECEIVE AN AUTOMATED EMAIL FROM CAMPDOC.COM PROMPTING YOU TO COMPLETE A PROFILE DETAILING DIFFERENT INFORMATION RELATED TO TEEN HEALTH AND SAFETY. IN ORDER FOR A TEEN TO ATTEND CONVENTION, THEIR CAMPDOC.COM PROFILE MUST BE 100% COMPLETE BY THE TUESDAY PRIOR TO THE EVENT.

Travel Info

Round-trip busing will be provided.

A coach bus will depart The YM/YWHA of Washington Heights and Inwood, located at 54 Nagle Avenue in Northern Manhattan, at 2:30pm on Friday, December 14th. (We've purposely chosen a departure point in Upper Manhattan so as to avoid midtown and UWS Friday traffic.) Plan to arrive by 2:00pm to leave time for loading and an on-time departure.

A bus will transport participants from Danbury to the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan (76th and Amsterdam) on Sunday, December 16th, arriving at the JCC at approximately 4:30pm.

Teens are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the buses.

If you have a conflict that prevents you from taking the bus either way, you can arrange transportation to and/or from Convention at your own expense. Please email Jon, Regional Director, at [email protected] if you register for Convention but do not plan to take the bus. Please include how you plan to get to and/or from Convention and what time you estimate you'll arrive and/or leave. Teens are not permitted to drive themselves or other teens to Convention.

Teens will sleep in hotel rooms. There will be 3 other teens of the same gender in your room.

Will there be adult supervision?
