According to a recent Census survey, there are more than 541,000 adults from Homestead to Palm Beach reported that they sometimes or often don’t have enough to eat. Food insecurities have risen since the beginning of the pandemic, and food banks are running low on supplies. We will be collecting cans and donating them to the Kosher Food Bank. After Havdallah, Miami Region's Shlichim will lead a program to teach about how teens can help by collecting food for Food Banks and being aware of the food insecurities in Miami and the impact it has on the community.
