Event Details

We are very excited to announce Mountain Region’s MR. BBYO competition on September 12th during Mountain Region Execs. All members and prospects are invited to compete and attend the MR. BBYO fundraiser, as well as the region wide Havdallah ceremony!  MR. BBYO puts the best Alephs in the region on the main stage and we can not wait for the entire region to get involved! 

• Havdallah service will be from 7:30pm-8:00pm 

• MR. BBYO will be from 8:00pm-9:00pm

The Pageant  

• Each AZA chapter will nominate a contestant to represent them.

• The contestants will compete in the following categories: swimwear, formal attire, and special talent

• Each AZA chapter will be paired with a sister BBG chapter. The BBGs will assist their AZA candidate in his quest to win the competition.

  • The pairings are:

• Kennedy and Shapiro

• Salk and Kiviat

• Frankfurter and Emek Hama’aravi

• Reznikoff and Tovah

• Abba and Kadimah

• Jack Entratter and Gorbena

• SLC AZA and SLC BBG

The Fundraising

• Money can be raised starting now up until the candidates leave the stage the night of the competition. Start early if you want to win!

• 30% of the money raised will be going to the International Service Fund(ISF) and the remaining money will be going directly into the Region!

Winner

• The winning chapter will receive the brand new MR. BBYO trophy, as well as a paid event for the AZA/BBG chapter pair who wins!
