We're back for in-person BBYO New England Region Conventions! Join us for our first convention weekend in almost 2 years, Fall Convention 2021!!!!!! The convention will be held November 12-14, at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Peabody, MA.

Fall Convention is for every 9th-12th grade Jewish teen involved with BBYO and any teen interested in becoming more involved in BBYO. Chapter leaders, chapter members, new members are all invited!. No leadership role or prior program participation is required to participate. Teens must be registered members of BBYO to attend convention.

Some highlights of Fall Convention:

  • A weekend overnight experience 
  • Make new friends you don't know yet or have only met virtually and hang out with old friends from all over Massachusetts and Rhode Island
  • Shabbat Experiences all weekend long including creative teen-led services, Havdallah, our guest songleader and educators 
  • Fun and memorable programming led by our teen steering committee including Onegs, Separates and more
  • A few surprises along the way...
  • Saturday night Dance Party and other non-dance activities
  • Business Meetings

Regular Fee: $365 between 10/25/2021-10/29/2021

 

Timing (subject to change)

Fall Convention will begin at 5pm on Friday 11/12.

Hotel and program registration will be between 3-5pm depending on bus arrival.

We will be finishing programming by 12:30pm on Sunday 11/14.

 

Scholarship
Scholarship is available on a limited basis, applications due by 10/22.  You must be logged into mybbyo to apply. There is no need to register for convention if you are applying to scholarship. Scholarship awards will be emailed by 10/25/2021 by the end of the day.

Buses will be available from Andover, Newton, Metrowest (Framingham or Natick), Providence and Sharon
 

Cancellation Policy: The deadline to cancel with a full program refund is the final registration deadline for this program. Until that date, full refunds will be granted for cancellations in writing (e-mail is acceptable), for any reason. After the registration deadline, partial refunds may be available based on convention expenses already paid (hotel, transportation, etc.). Within ten days of convention we’ve already confirmed final counts with our vendors, and no refunds will be given (unless a doctors note is received due to illness). “No shows” will not receive a refund.

Depending on registration, hotel room availability and transportation we may have to close registration earlier than the October 31st Midnight deadline and your teen will be placed on a waitlist.

 

In Person/Covid-19 policies:

  • All teen must be vaccinated to be in order to attend any overnight BBYO events including regional conventions. This is International BBYO policy, not just locally in NER.
  • All teens will be required to be masked during the duration of the weekend since we are all indoors.

 

Registration Questions and CampDocs:

  • There are registration questions to answer regarding which bus to take, roommate request, t-shirt size and more.
  • Please answer the allergy/dietary restriciton question so we request enough food from the hotel.  All food all weekend will be vegetarian.
  • All teens/families must fill out CampDocs information by 11/9/21 so we know allergies, physcial and mental health information and vaccine information along with other questions.
