Q&A

Why is it on a Sunday night this year? Monday October 14 is Indigenous Peoples' Day which is a no school day so we are able to host on a Sunday night which is similar to what most northeast BBYO regions are doing and what we did last year.

Is there Food? Yes! Food will be announced closer to the event but We will have gluten free and vegan options as well.  We always STRONGLY SUGGEST eating dinner before getting on the buses.  This is not meant to be dinner.

When do we get further information about the event? Information will be updated online continuously and included in NER's eNews.

By email, we will send out 2 emails closer to the event. These emails will include information regarding transportation information, reminders, rules, emergency contact information and any information regarding in-person program policies.

Volunteer advisors and staff are in attendance and we are looking for additonal parent volunteers who can ride the bus and/or attend the event, contact Jeff Hast at [email protected] if you are interested.  If a parent/family volunteer, we will cover the costs of the event and partial payment of Regional Convention.

Bus transportation will be provided from throughout the region for our Rhode Island, North Shore, Andover, Acton and Sharon communities.  See registration questions for more details. Specific information will be sent in the upcoming weeks once registration begins regarding times and location of bus stops.  Teens ARE allowed to drive themselves to the event since it is not an overnight program, families can also pick up and drop off.

Buses will arrive by 8pm and depart by 10:45pmpm, most buses make 1-2 stops and some return to their designated drop off spots around midnight or after.  Teens must stay for the entirety of the program.
