  • All teen participants and their parent/guardian must sign our COVID-19 Waiver before they will be permitted to attend (please see below for more information).

  • As of August 25, 2020, ONLY chapter and regional board, chair, or committee members are permitted to meet in person at this time. More guidance for chapter members and prospects will follow.

  • Events will be held at outdoor locations (weather permitting) that can meet social distancing standards.

  • Masks must be worn inside, and determinations for ourdoor programs will be based on local guidance.

  • Everyone present must remain at least six feet apart.

  • Individuals should bring their own supplies/equipment (mask, hand sanitizer, computer, pen/paper, agenda, etc.) as well as their own snacks.

  • PPE equipment (including hand sanitizer) and cleaning supplies will be on hand at all events.

  • Teens, families, advisors and staff will be asked daily screening questions sent out by each state at every event by staff and/or advisors. These questions will be asked by google form prior to the event.

How will I know if I'll my chapter will be in-person or virtual?

Regional staff will send out information for each chapter prior to the weekend to give details about where and when people will be meeting virtually or in-person.

Do I have to be in-person?

No, it's an option to have small groups meet from chapter and regional boards at this time; however, its not mandatory. For all events this year, we will have an option to always join virtually. We want to be respectful of everyone's comfort level around gathering in-person.

What do I need to join in-person events?

You'll need to have your C-19 waiver signed before you attend any event in-person. How to do this:
Navigate to "MyProfile" on BBYO website.

1. Login to your personal account on www.bbyo.org using your primary e-mail address and password. You have the option to reset your password, if needed.
2.Click on the menu item "My Profile," then scroll to the lower left side box labeled Program Alerts.
3.Click on the links to Complete Waivers online.
4.Once the Waiver is singed, the link will disappear.
