Detailed Information about the DOLL BALL! When: Saturday, November 21st, 8-11pm Where: Congregation Shearith Israel (9401 Douglas Ave, Dallas, TX 75229) What: Sablosky fundraiser and NTO formal homecoming Attire: Dress to impress! Homecoming wear! Ladies! Nice, party dresses (similar to walk down attire) Men! Suits Stand up: A note from Jennifer Greenspan: We're donating a percentage of our proceeds to an organization called TAAF otherwise known as the aneurysm and AVM fund. A brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM) is a tangle of abnormal blood vessels connecting arteries and veins in the brain. In April, I was diagnosed with an AVM in the lower right side of my brain that controls balance and coordination. I had to get surgery immediately for this condition affecting my whole right side, my speech and resulting to being in the hospital for almost two weeks. Our chapter wants to donate to this fund because we all think that is very important to turn our attention to this disease. The awareness color is red so throughout the month of November we are going to be wearing red to all of our Sablosky events and we are going to encourage the whole region to participate! Dates: Dates are NOT required but we encourage you take have fun and make this a homecoming experience Pictures: There will be a photographer at the event Food: Snacks will be provided and there will be more finalized info out soon Tickets: Tickets are $20 pre-sale and $25 at the door. We understand this is high but please keep in mind that a percentage is going to a good cause and something we are passionate about. This is also a FORMAL dance and a lot of effort is being put in to make sure you all have an amazing experience DJ and Music: There is going to be an AMAZING DJ but we want YOUR song recommendations so please fill out the survey on the NTO Facebook Shirts: Shirts are $12 and will be sold at the event!
