We're donating a percentage of our proceeds to an organization called TAAF otherwise known as the aneurysm and AVM fund. A brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM) is a tangle of abnormal blood vessels connecting arteries and veins in the brain. In April, I was diagnosed with an AVM in the lower right side of my brain that controls balance and coordination. I had to get surgery immediately for this condition affecting my whole right side, my speech and resulting to being in the hospital for almost two weeks. Our chapter wants to donate to this fund because we all think that is very important to turn our attention to this disease. The awareness color is red so throughout the month of November we are going to be wearing red to all of our Sablosky events and we are going to encourage the whole region to participate!
