Jewish Youth for Unity:
ROSH HASHANA VIDEO

Thank you for your interest in our celebration of creativity and community—Happy Jewish New Year! Here, you can watch a video explaining what this holiday is all about and explore the inspiration behind this project. No matter who or where you are, we invite you to join us in celebrating this meaningful holiday through a unique intersection of art and tradition.

ABOUT THIS INITIATIVE

The poster you scanned to reach this page was created as part of a Rosh Hashana Poster Contest hosted by five of the top Jewish Youth Organizations worldwide. It is the first in a series of events aimed at helping shape the narrative about Judaism in public schools and communities nationwide. Our hope is to elevate the visibility of Jewish traditions and culture and encourage more thoughtful and empathetic conversations within high schools and communities through a series of innovative projects led by teens.

Our Goals:

  • Promote Positive Dialogue

  • Empower Jewish Teen Artists

  • Foster Cross-Cultural Community Spirit

  • Enhance Visibility of Jewish Culture and Traditions

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Nathan Kamp | North Holland, Netherlands

"Honey-Dipped Hopes" | I am a designer who loves creating art that celebrates different cultures and traditions. I joined this contest because I wanted to share the warmth and joy of Rosh Hashanah in a way that can connect with people from all walks of life. The inspiration for my work came from the simple yet meaningful symbols of the holiday, like honey and pomegranates, which remind us of the sweetness and abundance we wish for in the new year. My goal was to create something that feels welcoming and uplifting, just like the spirit of the Jewish New Year.
