GMR, we are entering the greatest era of growth in our history, yet a disconnect remains: while we boast nearly 1,000 members, our events often struggle to reflect that scale. Our current recruitment and retention systems are too broad, too passive, and too outdated to meet the needs of today’s Alephs. As Regional Moreh, I will overhaul this approach by turning chapter recruitment and retention into a regional priority rooted in strategy, accountability, and action. Every chapter, from the largest to the newest, deserves the tools and support to thrive. As your regional aleph Moreh, I will make sure that is exactly what happens.
My vision is built on three commitments. First, I will create tailored chapter retention plans and recruitment frameworks that reflect the unique culture and needs of each chapter. One-size-fits-all systems do not build brotherhood — relationships do. By building individualized support structures and regular chapter check-ins, we can ensure no chapter is left behind. Second, I will reshape how we welcome and engage new members by making sure every prospective Aleph is met with purpose, energy, and a clear path into our movement. Membership should never feel accidental or confusing. It should feel immediate, intentional, and exciting from day one.
Finally, I will make reeducation a cornerstone of chapter development. Retention does not happen just because someone attends a few events — it happens when members feel connected to something bigger than themselves. That means every chapter must have access to engaging, values-driven education that reminds Alephs why AZA matters. I will work to provide chapters with materials, support, and programming ideas that make our traditions and purpose more relevant, not less. Together, we can build a region where every Aleph feels welcomed, every chapter feels empowered, and our growth is not just measured in numbers, but in strength, pride, and lasting brotherhood.
