YEAR-ROUND OPPORTUNITIES
Starting in eighth grade and throughout high school, BBYO members can hold a variety of leadership positions in the organization. These include board positions that can be held for one semester or two, chair positions within a chapter, regional leadership responsibilities, convention coordinating roles, and summer experience planning positions. Visit the leadership opportunities section of our website to learn more about leadership opportunities for members.
SUMMER LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS
Our exclusive members-only summer leadership programs pair the values of AZA and BBG—leadership, service, brotherhood and sisterhood—with the best of camp—athletics, swimming, electives, and more—for one-of-a-kind experiences with an emphasis on developing skills and friendships. Designed for current or aspiring leaders, these programs focus on building skills participants can use throughout their involvement in BBYO, in high school classrooms and communities at home, and throughout life. Visit the summer leadership program section of our website to learn more about these select experiences.
OUTREACH TO UNIVERSITIES
With so many of our alumni emerging as leaders on their college campuses and in their careers, academic decision makers have taken notice of involvement in BBYO as a positive CV highlight. To underscore this, our CEO, Matt Grossman, sends a letter to over 125 college admissions officers every year highlighting aspects of the BBYO high school experience that carry over into a successful college career. You can read the letter here.
