President of The Staenberg Group, Michael, pays meticulous attention to detail on every project, including design, construction, leasing and management. Known for his endless energy and competitive edge, he leads the company with dedication and passion. Michael understands that the simplest decisions impact the experience of the people coming to a shopping center, and his involvement verges on the extreme, from insisting upon energy-conserving white roofs to choosing planters that are attractive to shoppers. A flagship BBYO experience, the Leven Global Leadership Academy (LGLA) prepares a select cohort of teens from around the world with marketable leadership skills that are transferable throughout their lives. Each year, under the guidance of world-class leaders and professionals, teens in LGLA sharpen their leadership and public speaking skills by developing their own TED-style talks which are presented at BBYO’s International Convention annually. Click here to view a playlist of talks presented at this year’s event.

Together with community leaders, members of the Leven Global Leadership Academy will have the opportunity to:

  • Act as the "leadership faculty" for the Leven Global Leadership Academy
  • Facilitate workshops and give keynote addresses at BBYO International Convention, immersive experiences, and local community events
  • Support BBYO's teen leadership serving on the Movement's International Leadership Network

“Through the Leven Global Leadership Academy, I gained so many concrete skills and the tools to better serve my community and society. Learning from incredible speakers, role models, and mentors as a part of this experience has really expanded my abilities as a leader and has empowered me to understand my full potential.”
