Find Yourself Here

Want to Become a Member of AZA and BBG?
You’ve come to the right place!

The Aleph Zadik Aleph (AZA) and the B’nai B’rith Girls (BBG) are a high school fraternity and sorority, the membership program of BBYO. For cool things to do on the weekends, sports leagues, new friends, fun experiences, skills that make admissions officers smile, a place where the “in-crowd” is an inclusive one, and a chance to be in charge, AZA and BBG membership is just what you’re looking for.

All that’s left to do now is join us.

The Fun Print:
At nearly 100 years old, AZA and BBG are not getting any younger, but we are getting bigger. Today, you’ll find Alephs and BBGs in more than 725 communities in 60 countries across the world. (that’s right, wherever you go, there’s always someone... from BBYO.)

Like the 400,000 alumni before us, we are redefining “Jewish Youth Movement” and how we can shape the world—and we’re having a lot of fun along the way. Through service, advocacy, cross-cultural connections, and powerful programs, we’re leading our fraternity and sorority to new places.

We always say, in AZA and BBG, you’ll “find yourself here.” And that’s true. You’ll also find gold medalists, rock stars, humanitarians, politicians, dreamers, leaders, educators, and a space for you at the podium. This is your AZA and BBG. JOIN US.

The Fine Print:
Beginning in 8th grade and anytime throughout high school, teens may join as members of BBYO. Membership through high school graduation is $249. This is a one-time membership, non-refundable fee paid when a teen joins an AZA, BBG or BBYO chapter.

Should the membership fee pose a hardship for any family, financial assistance will be available, as has always been our practice. We want to ensure that every Jewish teen, from all socio-economic backgrounds, can participate in BBYO. Additionally, scholarship will remain available for specific BBYO events as well as $3,000 vouchers for any Jewish teen who is interested in traveling to Israel on a BBYO Passport program.
