MELANIE ANDERSON

Manager, Aggie Village Apartments
Fort Collins, CO

Melanie Anderson is an alumna of Chai BBG #1728 in Central Region West and the current advisor of Fort Collins BBYO #5396 in the Rocky Mountain Region. She works at Colorado State University as the Office Manager for a university-owned complex, Aggie Village Apartments.

Melanie graduated from UC San Diego in 2017 with a BA in Communications and is working towards her MA in Teaching & Learning through Colorado State University - Global. She is passionate about education and animals, and enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and tap dancing in her free time.

ALEXIS BARANOFF

Clinical Researcher, Seattle Children’s Hospital
Seattle, WA

Alexis Baranoff M.Ed is a current medical student and graduate clinical researcher at the University of Washington, School of Medicine. Alexis’ career focus is caring for underserved women through an Obstetrics and Gynecological lens with the goal of one day opening a free clinic for uninsured women. Alexis has a background in education and worked as a high school physics teacher and department lead in Dallas, Texas through Teach for America. Alexis graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience (Psychobiology) in 2017 and from SMU with a Masters in Education in 2019. She enjoys painting, yoga, Netflix comedy specials, and trying different brunch spots around Seattle.

JOYCIE BERNSTEIN

Joycie Bernstein is originally from Birmingham, AL. She went to The University of Georgia and then spent time working in the video production industry in New York City. Joycie currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia where she works as a video producer. She spends her free time working at a local art gallery, drawing and painting, hiking, biking, and spending time with family and friends.

SYDENY ELLISON

Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Office of Illinois Governer JB Pritzker
Chicago, Illinois

Sydney has always had a passion for ensuring all loose ends are tied not just correctly, but with ease for all involved. Sydney is currently focusing on all details big and small with Governor JB Pritzker and serves as Deputy Operating Officer. She began her love for all things operations on JB Pritzker's Gubernatorial race, and later became Senator Cory Booker's Nevada Operations, Special Projects Director and Trips Coordinator. Following that, she served as the Director of Logistics and Special Projects for the Milwaukee 2020 Host Committee for the Democratic National Convention. She believes her love for politics and community stem from her B'nai B'rith Girls experience. She is lucky enough to be able to fuse her passion and career together. When she is not working she loves a game of bar trivia and spending a night with friends and family. She is always making a plan and invites all.

MARISSA FINK

Engagement Coordinator, Chapman Hillel
Newport Beach, CA

Marissa Fink concluded her Springboard Innovation Fellowship at Orange County Hillel in Southern California and will be working at Chapman Hillel. She studied Society & Environment at UC Berkeley’s College of Natural Resources and her interests include environmental advocacy and sustainability. She appreciates being outdoors and Jewish meditation and mindfulness events at her campus. She takes interest in creating mental health programming that has been instrumental for students reflecting on their own struggles, realizing they are not alone in their feelings of sadness, anxiety, or stress.

Marissa has been a licensed California Real Estate Agent for approximately 3 years, and enjoys using her expertise to help family and friends buy or sell their home.

In the future Marissa plans to continue her professional role with Hillel, inspiring young Jewish leaders to make a positive impact in this world, while continuing to grow her business and take on new exciting ventures.

BEATA GROBMAN

Product Marketing Manager, QuickBooks
Thornhill, ON

Beata Grobman is a business graduate of Queen’s School of Business. She is currently working as a Product Marketing Manager at Intuit, overseeing QuickBooks in Canada. Outside of work, she is studying towards her MBA.

In her spare time, Beata enjoys cooking, travelling (when it is legal to do so!), spending time with her friends and family, and spending time outdoors.

HANNAH HAUPTMAN

Strategic Planner, Tierney
Philadelphia, PA

After spending four years at Tulane earning her Bachelors of Science in Management, Hannah is happy to be back in the Philadelphia area where she was born and raised. Professionally, Hannah is happy to be able to combine her creative and analytical minds in a brand planning role. In her current role, she spends her time understanding the consumer and how brands can best connect with them in today’s world for a variety of clients.

ANDREA LIBERMAN

Associate Consultant (Bain); Sr. Associate in Marketing, Strategy, & Operations (Curology)
Dallas, TX

Andrea is originally from Dayton, Ohio, and was an active BBYO member and leader throughout high school. She attended Vanderbilt University, where she majored in Cognitive Studies and Economics and found a passion in the intersection of business and psychology, particularly in consumer insights and marketing. While at Vanderbilt, she maintained her commitment to her Jewish background as a leader at the Vanderbilt Hillel. After graduation, she moved to Dallas to start a new job as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company. She has continued to apply her interest in psychology to her work and after two years at Bain, took the opportunity to extern at Curology on the Marketing, Strategy, & Operations team where she can further explore her interests. Outside of work, she enjoys cardio boxing, trying new food, and traveling.

ALLI LINDENBERG

Alli is passionately curious. She leads with her heart, sometimes to a fault. She believes in finding beauty in the broken things and that really everything is a broken thing. She believes we are better as people when we prioritize community. She is a proud Southern Jew and loves ritual especially. She loves to rock climb, bake (mostly challah these days), produce podcasts, write, and dabbles in photography. On a free day you can find her wandering in the woods or writing at a cafe.

ANNIE WEINBERG

Springboard Innovation Fellow, Hillel at University of Virginia
Charlottesville, VA

Annie joined the Brody Jewish Center, Hillel at UVA team as a Development Associate in 2019 after graduating from the University of Virginia with a B.S.Ed in Youth & Social Innovation and a B.A. in Psychology. Passionate about innovation, building strong Jewish communities, and fostering leadership in young adults, Annie is entering her second year of Hillel International's Springboard Innovation Fellowship at UVA, where she applies her education background and personal experiences to enhance Jewish student life at UVA and in the Charlottesville community. Annie is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Nonprofit Studies from the University of Richmond, with a focus on humanitarian work and organizations serving women.

Drawn to anything outdoors, Annie applies the 80/20 rule to her free time, spending as much of her time as she can outside and staying active while exploring the mountains and trails around the Charlottesville area.
